Every year I forget to wear green and this year is no exception. I knew today was coming but somehow in the rush of things I overlooked it. I think it has to do with the fact I have absolutely no green in my wardrobe. I wonder why…. Maybe I don’t look good in green. In any case I made up for it by having a traditional Irish lunch. I had corned beef and cabbage, potatoes (sorry), and Shepard’s pie. I guess that last one is English, but its the first time I’ve ever had it. Oh yeah and Soda bread. Yum it was delicious. Of course this was all from the hospital cafeteria so the authenticity is a little suspect. I didn’t get pinched so that’s a good thing. Although at my age, pinching someone could be pretty dangerous…all the litigation and sexual harassment. What a shame, it was fun when we were kids.
What I’m most excited about is the release of Vista SP1 supposedly tomorrow. I know all the previews say that it really doesn’t help much but any Vista fix is better than nothing. (Unless that fix actually breaks your computer like the last patch did to some others.) I honestly like Vista overall and look forward to better compatibility, speed, and security in the future. I’m not so much a fanboy as someone who really hasn’t tried anything else and is happy with what he’s got.

I was pinched by one of my patients, and I WAS wearing green!!
So no protection from pinches? hmm. According to the official St. Patrick’s day rules “if you pinch someone who is wearing green, that person gets to pinch you back ten times!”. I suggest you find that patient and get justice. lol
He might like it!! ;D
