Today was a beautiful day.  The sun was out the snow has melted and having a few hours of daylight after work is really refreshing.  There is something about a cool crisp spring morning that’s so invigorating.  I just love the smell of the fresh air, clean air.  After months of cold miserable weather it seems like mother nature has finally decided that winter must come to an end.  I know that there are predictions of a few more days of snow and frozen rain but today was a nice reprieve from the bad weather.  It’s a nice to have a little taste of what kind of weather to expect soon.  I’m sorely going to miss these kind of day when I go back to California.  As much as I like Cali I have to say the air quality is atrocious.  It’s hard to explain but if I had to describe California air I would have to say “slightly chewy”.   Anyway my views about life after residency have changed a lot being out here in Pittsburgh.  Many of the absolutes have crossed into the ‘grey’ area in my mind.  I suppose some would call it a growing experience, maybe I am growing up a little.  :)
